Title: “Witch Watch”: El Anime de Comedia Mágica de Netflix Basado en el Manga de Kenta Shinohara Ya Está Disponible en América Latina
The popular manga series “Witch Watch” by Kenta Shinohara has been adapted into an anime by Netflix, and it has been available in Latin America since April 2025. The anime is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata at Bilbury Animation Studios, with Deko Akao in charge of the series composition, Haruko Iizuka designing the characters, and Yukari Hashimoto composing the music.
The anime is divided into two parts, with 26 episodes in total, and it is being released every Sunday. The first part of the anime concluded with episode 12, and the second part began with episode 13. The upcoming episode 15, titled “Summer Demon,” is expected to continue the main story and possibly feature a confrontation between Morihito and Ran, as well as the arrival of the student council members.
“Witch Watch” was first published in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2021, and it has since released 20 volumes in Japan, with over 1.1 million copies sold. The anime version is currently being broadcasted on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu in Japan, with Netflix releasing the dubbed version three weeks after the original airing.
On March 15, 2025, a compilation of the first three episodes was screened in cinemas as “Witch Watch Watch Party” in North America, Europe, and Asia, but it was not shown in Argentina.
The “Witch Watch” manga is a comedy-magic story about Nico and his friends, who are looking forward to a stress-free summer vacation. The anime version is now available in Spanish for Latin American audiences to enjoy.
